Tadpole Swim School is a family-run swim school operating across Surrey and Hampshire, teaching over 1,000 children every week across multiple locations. 

​

We're proud to be one of the leading providers of children's swimming lessons in the region, and the key to our success has always been our fantastic team of teachers. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and genuine passion for helping children learn make Tadpole Swim School what it is today.

Looking for part-time hours that fit around family life or other commitments? 

​

Many of our teachers are parents themselves who first discovered Tadpole Swim School through lessons with their own children. Others combine their teaching with other careers or studies. 

What they all have in common is a genuine passion for helping children develop confidence in the water and learn an essential life skill.

What qualifications do I need? 

​

You don't need any formal swimming teaching qualifications before joining us, but we're looking for people who: 

• Love working with babies and children 

• Have a passion for swimming 

• Are enthusiastic, positive and reliable 

• Enjoy learning new skills and embracing new challenges 

• Are confident communicators 

• Are aged 16 or over 

• Can comfortably swim 50 metres 

• Are available to work at least one weekend day 

• Have access to their own transport

Training and Qualifications 

​

If we believe you're the right fit for the Tadpole team, we'll support you every step of the way. 

We'll fund your STA qualifications and provide extensive in-house training, mentoring and practical experience alongside one of our experienced teachers. Our aim is to give you the skills, confidence and support needed to become an exceptional swimming teacher.
